Cambridge Wedding The Red Barn | Nicola & Ben

Nicola & Ben celebrated their wedding at the gorgeous countryside setting amidst The Red Barn near Cambridge. A day bringing Kiwi & Chilean families together.

I first met Ben & Nicola when Ben had planned a surprise proposal down in Wānaka a couple of years ago. He got in touch and we worked together to make it one that Nicola wouldn’t forget. Ben booked a helicopter, and all of a sudden I was pretending to be a local tourism photographer for the flight. Next thing you know, we are running around the Alta Tarns over looking Mt Aspiring, and Ben gets his knee dirty for the big question. Of course Nicola agrees.

Fast forward two years later, and I’m catching a plane to Hamilton where these two met and dated for 8 years. The Red Barn in Cambridge is a wedding venue I hadn’t yet visited, but it was well worth the trip! A gorgeous farm setting with lush green surroundings, and a barn style building with plenty of amazing photo ops. Nicola & Ben had many meaningful touches when it came to bringing their two families together. Chilean poems and traditional dancing mixed with some humorous kiwi yarns from the MC and a good ol’ shoe game to wrap up the night.
