How we Roll
Discovery Call – Let’s get to know one another. We can arrange a coffee meetup, or connect via FaceTime or a phone call. The purpose of this meet and greet is to chat about your goals and visions for your day. It’s also a space for you to ask all your questions and discuss which coverage is best suited to fit your celebration.

Nail the details – From scouting shoot locations and fine-tuning your run sheet to ensure everything runs smoothly, we go the extra mile to create perfect images, without a hitch. This includes collaborating closely with wedding planners or coordinators on the day. Your special day is safe in our hands.

The Big Day – When the day has finally arrived (so exciting!), we’ll blend in with your guests, documenting every special moment and stopping any small hiccups in their tracks, so you can simply enjoy the magic that’s about to unfold. We’ll also occasionally provide gentle guidance and direction if and when needed, just to ensure you’re looking and feeling your best at all times.

We throw our heart and soul into perfecting every image and curating your complete collection, capturing all those fleeting moments and precious memories for the final delivery.

An engagement or portrait shoot allows us to capture some really beautiful, candid photos of you and your partner or family in a comfortable environment. (Just you guys, being you!) These sessions are super laid-back and informal, packed with fun and relaxed vibes.

Splendour Visuals photography studio is based in Wānaka New Zealand. While we predominantly shoot all around the Queenstown Lakes district, we book a limited number of weddings all across New Zealand each year. For weddings or elopements in New Zealand outside of Wanaka, we offer all-inclusive travel packages to make your planning easier – just add it on, and we’ll handle the rest.
And yes – we’re passionate travellers who are always up for an adventure! For destination weddings in say, Europe, Asia or Australia, we’ll need to chat about the details, so just reach out and we’ll find the best solution together. Note that unless special arrangements are discussed, all travel and accommodation will be handled and booked by us. You won’t have to do a thing!
A sneak peek with a small selection of images will be delivered within one week of your wedding date. Due to a high volume of wedding and elopement photography bookings during this time, you will receive your full collection of wedding photos within 3 months. Our team places a lot of love and care into perfecting each image, which is why it’ll take a little extra time to deliver your final images. Note that the off-peak season typically has a wait time of around 6 weeks.
We don’t limit our packages to a set number of photos, as every couple and day is unique! What we do guarantee is a full collection of images, capturing every special moment and ensuring none of the good stuff gets left out. Need a frame of reference? Our 8-10 hour packages typically deliver around 500+ images.

We sure do! Choosing a videographer who can work in harmony with your photographer’s style is super important. Splendour Visuals works closely with the immensely talented and legendary Ned from Summit Films and offers a combined photo and video package for full-day bookings. We shoot on Sony digital cameras and lenses, however, vintage always finds its way back into style, and we’ve been thrilled with the fantastic feedback on our film photography so far! We’d love to shoot a roll (or even five!) of 35mm film for you on the day – just let us know!
The booking process is super easy. Once you have enquired, we've had a chat and you've peeked our wedding collections, we’ll send you a contract to review and sign. A 25% deposit is required to secure your date for wedding and elopement photography bookings. Your final balance is due 1 month before your wedding date. Due to the number of enquiries received, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis and can only confirm your date once the deposit has been received.
Absolutely – we like to do this before you even book! We love to get to know our couples so you can just relax and feel comfortable on the day of your shoot or wedding. If we have the opportunity, it'd be lovely to grab a coffee together to get to know more about your vision and how we can help. We know life gets busy, so alternatively, let’s set up a video chat or a phone call. This way, we can have a yarn and get to know one another.
